about me
I have always been fascinated by stories of adventurous mountain climbers who scale steep, rugged, dangerous terrain to reach the summit of a peak. Although there is often a great deal of planning, there are many unknowns such as weather and how one’s body will respond to the elements. It takes pacing and rigorous training. A key component of a safe and successful climb are the sherpas who accompany the climbers. Sherpas are a Tibetan ethnic group native to the most mountainous regions. They provide wisdom, experience, support, and guidance on these treks. Like mountaineering, working through challenges can be mentally, physically, and emotionally arduous. Having a tailor-made strategy, someone who is familiar with the plan and terrain and can help carry it out, is paramount in having a successful journey.
Think of me as your healing sherpa.
Healing occurs with others.
I am familiar with the terrain, strategies, and tools, and I will guide you through our mutually created path.
Just like the sherpas who accompany mountain climbers, I will be there with you through your healing expedition.
I am a psychotherapist, healer, neuroscientist lover, dancer, yogi, somatic movement specialist, and believer in the importance of being connected to our bodies in order to move through life’s challenges.
Our work together is relational and fluid as I guide you in therapeutic exploration, discovering, and learning how to meet yourself, move through challenges, develop tools and strategies, and ultimately understand yourself more deeply.
